I visited designer Suzi Click at her extraordinary Los Angeles home over the weekend. Her dear friend and collaborator Grtechen Schields(pictures to follow) drove up from Laguna Beach for an afternoon photo shoot at Suzi's colorful abode. It was so much fun hearing Suzi and Gretchen discuss and admire each other's outfits and witness their deep appreciation for personal expression. California Summer

Every time I visit California my mom sets me up with some of her stylish girlfriends to photograph. My mom met Irene at a jazz concert near San Diego a few years ago after she spotted her walking around with my book. Check out the full story HERE.

Spirited Style

I met this gorgeous woman while photo hunting near Madison Avenue. After snapping a quick portrait,  she flung her hand in the air and said, "That was fun. Let's try it again." I only spent a few quick moments with this wonderful lady, but it was a joy to see how much spirit she shared with me.

Houndstooth and Red Lipstick

This stunning woman was walking up Madison Avenue when I noticed her from across the street. I quickly ran to catch up to her and asked if I could take her photograph. I love the sharp contrast between her wonderful hair and bright red lipstick

Hat Tip

I tip my hat to this gentleman's dapper look. He definitely stands out amongst the crowds on this busy New York street.

5th Avenue

The first thing I noticed about this gorgeous woman is her incredible  two-toned hair. Her wonderful smile and great shade of red lipstick perfectly compliment her simple, elegant look.

The Best Beret

I always see the most stylish older ladies in my neighborhood. As I was taking this woman's photograph a few of our neighbors gathered around to tell  me that she always looks wonderful and always has the best hats. I can't wait to run into her again!

A Colorful Life

Last night was a truly magical experience at the European premiere of Advanced Style. I'll post some thoughts and photos from the evening soon.

The Ladies arrive in London

It's been a very exciting few days. Lina and I have been traveling with the stars of The Advanced Style Documentary for our world premiere in Toronto. We couldn't of hoped for a better response with four sold out screenings and wonderful feedback from the audiences. After Toronto, I made my way to London with some of the ladies, while Lina attended the New Jersey Premiere of Advanced Style with Ilona Royce Smithkin and Jacquie Tajah Murdock. Thanks so much for cheering us on! We hope to bring Advanced Style to a Theater near you.

London Street Style

I ran into Carole Lee on my way to a panel discussion about aging at Selfridges. When I stopped to ask her for her photograph, she said, " You are like that Seth with the book." It turns out that she had just seen my book at a department store. I can't wait to hit the streets and photograph some more wonderful ladies in London before the premiere of our documentary. Full of Joy

I often see this woman walking uptown and she always has on the most wonderful coats and hats. When I asked her about her coat she responded, "It gives me joy to wear things that I love."
